How it compares

You need 3.00 times the allowed loss in profit before you pass.

Break-even return

What the rules mean in practice

  • There are 3 phases. Phase 1 needs $300 profit (3%); Phase 2 needs $300 profit (3%); Phase 3 needs $300 profit (3%). The loss limits apply in every phase.
  • On any single day you can lose up to $200 (2%). Check Maven's rules for whether that is measured from the day's starting balance or equity, because open trades count.
  • The account fails if you lose $300 (3%). This is static drawdown: the loss limit is fixed at a set distance below your starting balance and never moves.
  • Consistency rule: None
  • At a 80% split, you need about 0.48% return on the funded account to earn back the $38 fee.
  • The challenge and the funded account use the same 2% daily and 3% static loss limits.
  • Red-folder news restrictions apply in both the challenge and the funded stage.

This is our reading of Maven's published rules. The firm's own terms always take priority. See the full Maven rules.
