What the rules mean in practice
- There are 3 phases. Phase 1 needs $1,500 profit (3%); Phase 2 needs $1,500 profit (3%); Phase 3 needs $1,500 profit (3%). The loss limits apply in every phase.
- On any single day you can lose up to $1,000 (2%). Check Maven's rules for whether that is measured from the day's starting balance or equity, because open trades count.
- The account fails if you lose $1,500 (3%). This is static drawdown: the loss limit is fixed at a set distance below your starting balance and never moves.
- Consistency rule: None
- At the starting 80% split, you need about 0.48% return on the funded $50K account to earn back the $190 fee, before any other charges.
- The challenge and the funded account use the same 2% daily and 3% static loss limits.
- Red-folder news restrictions apply in both the challenge and the funded stage.
