What the rules mean in practice

  • There are 2 phases. Phase 1 needs $800 profit (8%); Phase 2 needs $500 profit (5%). The loss limits apply in every phase.
  • On any single day you can lose up to $400 (4%). Check Maven's rules for whether that is measured from the day's starting balance or equity, because open trades count.
  • The account fails if you lose $800 (8%). This is static drawdown: the loss limit is fixed at a set distance below your starting balance and never moves.
  • Consistency rule: None
  • At a 80% split, you need about 0.55% return on the funded account to earn back the $44 fee.
  • The checkout offers a paid add-on that raises the maximum loss to 10%.
  • Red-folder news restrictions apply in both the challenge and the funded stage.
  • The $50K and $100K sizes are not sold in Pakistan, Laos, Myanmar, Taiwan, Vietnam or Malaysia.

This is our reading of Maven's published rules. The firm's own terms always take priority. See the full Maven rules.
