What the rules mean in practice
- To pass, grow the $10K account by $1,200 (12%) without breaking a loss limit.
- On any single day you can lose up to $500 (5%). Check Alpha Capital's rules for whether that is measured from the day's starting balance or equity, because open trades count.
- The account fails if you lose $800 (8%). This is balance trailing drawdown: the loss limit rises with your closed balance as you make profit, so it follows your gains.
- Consistency rule: 40% best-day rule on the qualified account for on-demand payouts
- At a 80% split, you need about 1.34% return on the funded account to earn back the $107 fee.
- Payouts: on demand (40% best-day rule and 2% minimum profit)
- Offered up to $100K only.
- The 8% maximum loss trails the highest balance reached and stops at the starting balance.
