What the rules mean in practice

  • To pass, grow the $10K account by $900 (9%) without breaking a loss limit.
  • On any single day you can lose up to $400 (4%). Check Blue Guardian's rules for whether that is measured from the day's starting balance or equity, because open trades count.
  • The account fails if you lose $600 (6%). This is balance trailing drawdown: the loss limit rises with your closed balance as you make profit, so it follows your gains.
  • Consistency rule: None
  • At a 85% split, you need about 0.78% return on the funded account to earn back the $66 fee.
  • Payouts: every 14 days (every 7 days with a paid add-on)
  • The 6% maximum loss trails the highest closed balance and stops at the starting balance after a 6% gain, with a 1% withdrawal buffer from then on.
  • Accounts bought before 20 August had a 10% profit target.
  • On the funded account, Guardian Shield closes all positions at a 2% floating loss. The first trigger cuts the split to 50% and the second ends the account.
  • News trading is allowed in the evaluation but restricted on the funded account.
  • The pricing page shows 1:100 leverage for the evaluation, while the platform rules article lists 1:50 for forex on 1-step evaluations.

This is our reading of Blue Guardian's published rules. The firm's own terms always take priority. See the full Blue Guardian rules.
