What the rules mean in practice
- There are 2 phases. Phase 1 needs $2,000 profit (8%); Phase 2 needs $1,250 profit (5%). The loss limits apply in every phase.
- On any single day you can lose up to $750 (3%). Check Blue Guardian's rules for whether that is measured from the day's starting balance or equity, because open trades count.
- The account fails if you lose $2,500 (10%). This is static drawdown: the loss limit is fixed at a set distance below your starting balance and never moves.
- Consistency rule: Best day must be under 50% of the period's profit on the funded account
- At a 80% split, you need about 0.33% return on the funded account to earn back the $66.66 fee.
- Each payout is capped at 2% of the starting balance per cycle; profit above the cap stays in the account.
- Guardian Shield does not apply to Nano accounts.
- The 2 Step Nano rules page lists an 80% default split, while the general payouts article lists 85% for funded accounts. 80% is used here.
