What the rules mean in practice
- There are 2 phases. Phase 1 needs $2,500 profit (10%); Phase 2 needs $2,000 profit (8%). The loss limits apply in every phase.
- On any single day you can lose up to $1,000 (4%). Check FundingPips's rules for whether that is measured from the day's starting balance or equity, because open trades count.
- The account fails if you lose $3,000 (12%). This is static drawdown: the loss limit is fixed at a set distance below your starting balance and never moves.
- Consistency rule: None on bi-weekly cycles; 35% best-day rule on the on-demand cycle
- At a 80% split, you need about 0.88% return on the funded account to earn back the $175 fee.
- At purchase the trader locks in either an 80% bi-weekly split or a 95% bi-weekly split that needs 3 profitable days per cycle; both cost the same. On demand at 100% is also offered.
