What the rules mean in practice
- There are 2 phases. Phase 1 needs $2,500 profit (10%); Phase 2 needs $1,250 profit (5%). The loss limits apply in every phase.
- On any single day you can lose up to $1,250 (5%). Check Alpha Capital's rules for whether that is measured from the day's starting balance or equity, because open trades count.
- The account fails if you lose $2,500 (10%). This is static drawdown: the loss limit is fixed at a set distance below your starting balance and never moves.
- Consistency rule: 40% best-day rule on the qualified account for on-demand payouts
- At a 80% split, you need about 1.23% return on the funded account to earn back the $247 fee.
- Payouts: on demand only (40% best-day rule and 2% minimum profit)
- Weekend holding is allowed at all stages; news trading is allowed if trades opened within 2 minutes of a release last longer than 2 minutes.
- Leverage is 1:30 on FX and lot exposure limits are half those of Alpha Pro.
- The 90% split add-on is not offered on this plan.
