What the rules mean in practice
- There are 2 phases. Phase 1 needs $2,000 profit (8%); Phase 2 needs $1,250 profit (5%). The loss limits apply in every phase.
- On any single day you can lose up to $1,000 (4%). Check Alpha Capital's rules for whether that is measured from the day's starting balance or equity, because open trades count.
- The account fails if you lose $2,000 (8%). This is static drawdown: the loss limit is fixed at a set distance below your starting balance and never moves.
- Consistency rule: On-demand: 40% best-day rule and 2% minimum profit; bi-weekly: none
- At a 80% split, you need about 0.89% return on the funded account to earn back the $177 fee.
- Payouts: on demand (prices shown); bi-weekly also sold at a higher price.
- Prices are for the on-demand payout option, the default at checkout. Bi-weekly prices: $40 (5K), $67 (10K), $197 (25K), $327 (50K), $577 (100K), $1,097 (200K).
- Daily loss is balance-based.
- Weekend holding is allowed in both phases but not on the qualified account (profits from such trades are removed).
- Eligible for the scaling plan.
