What the rules mean in practice
- To pass, grow the $5K account by $400 (8%) without breaking a loss limit.
- On any single day you can lose up to $125 (2.5%). Check E8 Markets's rules for whether that is measured from the day's starting balance or equity, because open trades count.
- The account fails if you lose $400 (8%). This is static drawdown: the loss limit is fixed at a set distance below your starting balance and never moves.
- Consistency rule: No best-day rule; only 2% of the initial balance per day counts toward the target and payouts (daily profit cap)
- At a 80% split, you need about 0.8% return on the funded account to earn back the $32 fee.
- Payouts: daily, once at least 1% profit has been made since the last payout.
- Prices above are for the 8% static drawdown tier with an 80% payout share, the configuration described in the help center.
- 6% and 10% drawdown tiers are also sold (target equals the drawdown); a $100K account lists at $468 (6%) and $539 (10%) at 80% payout.
- Each payout request releases 50% of accumulated profit as the requestable amount; the payout share (80% to 100%) applies to that half, and the other half stays in the account as a buffer.
- After the first payout the static drawdown floor moves up to the starting balance and stays there.
- Profit above 2% of the initial balance in a single day is removed at rollover and does not count toward the target.
- The help center lists a $150K size and a 90% payout option for E8 Pro; neither appeared in the website configurator on the check date.
