What the rules mean in practice
- There is no evaluation. You trade a funded $5K account from day one, so the loss limits are the only rules between you and a payout.
- On any single day you can lose up to $150 (3%). Check Alpha Capital's rules for whether that is measured from the day's starting balance or equity, because open trades count.
- The account fails if you lose $250 (5%). This is balance trailing drawdown: the loss limit rises with your closed balance as you make profit, so it follows your gains.
- Consistency rule: 15% best-day rule
- At the starting 90% split, you need about 1.49% return on the funded $5K account to earn back the $67 fee, before any other charges.
- Payouts: on demand after a 3% profit buffer plus 1% minimum profit.
- Qualified from purchase with no evaluation phase.
- Open loss on any single asset must stay under 1% of the starting balance from the first trade.
- A 3% profit buffer must be built and kept in the account before the first payout.
- EAs and weekend holding are not allowed; the account cannot be merged or scaled.
