What the rules mean in practice

  • To pass, grow the $50K account by $5,000 (10%) without breaking a loss limit.
  • On any single day you can lose up to $2,000 (4%). Check Fundedbit's rules for whether that is measured from the day's starting balance or equity, because open trades count.
  • The account fails if you lose $3,000 (6%). This is equity trailing drawdown: the loss limit rises with your highest equity, including open profit, so it follows unrealised gains too.
  • Consistency rule: Funded only: the best day may not exceed 40% of total profit
  • At a 80% split, you need about 1.12% return on the funded account to earn back the $449 fee.
  • Payouts: the first can be requested 21 days after the first funded trade, then whenever the account is eligible; approved payouts are sent within 24 hours.
  • The 6% maximum loss trails the highest equity reached and locks at the starting balance once the account is 6% up.
  • The 4% daily loss is a share of the starting balance, checked on live equity and reset at 00:15 UTC.
  • The 40% best-day cap applies only on the funded account and is checked when a payout is requested.
  • The programs page text gives 5% daily loss for 1-Step, but its own price table, the homepage, the FAQ and the help centre give 4%. Some homepage text also mentions 100% of profit, while the table and FAQ give 80%.
  • Prices are list prices; a 30% discount was being applied to all 1-Step and 2-Step challenges at the time of checking.

This is our reading of Fundedbit's published rules. The firm's own terms always take priority. See the full Fundedbit rules.
