What the rules mean in practice
- To pass, grow the $50K account by $4,500 (9%) without breaking a loss limit.
- On any single day you can lose up to $1,500 (3%). Check Breakout's rules for whether that is measured from the day's starting balance or equity, because open trades count.
- The account fails if you lose $1,500 (3%). This is static drawdown: the loss limit is fixed at a set distance below your starting balance and never moves.
- Consistency rule: None
- At a 80% split, you need about 0.45% return on the funded account to earn back the $180 fee.
- Payouts: on demand at any time once all positions are closed, with a $50 minimum after the split.
- The 3% maximum drawdown is fixed from the starting balance, the same size as the daily loss limit.
- The 90/10 split upgrade adds 20% to the fee, for example $396 instead of $330 at $100K.
