Crypto prop firms with no time limit challenges

Crypto: these evaluation programs set no deadline for reaching the profit target, so you can trade at your own pace instead of forcing trades as a cutoff date approaches. Most still have minimum trading days and an inactivity rule, and a monthly fee makes a slow pass more expensive. The list covers evaluation programs only, not instant accounts.

What no time limit means in a prop firm challenge

Older challenge formats gave traders a fixed window, often around a month per phase, to reach the target. Without a deadline, the only ways to fail are breaking a loss limit or another trading rule, so you can wait for setups that fit your plan and step back during periods when your strategy is not working.

No time limit rarely means no activity requirement. Many programs close an account after a stated period without a closed trade, and minimum trading days still apply. If the fee is charged monthly rather than once, every extra month spent in the evaluation adds to the cost.

Removing the deadline also changes how you can manage risk. Without time pressure there is little reason to raise position size to catch up, which is a common way evaluations are lost. Before buying, check the inactivity rule, any minimum days, how the drawdown is measured and whether the funded account has its own time-based rules.

Frequently asked questions

Can I keep a no time limit challenge open forever?

Only while you stay active. Most programs close an account after a stated period with no trades, and some reserve the right to close long-idle accounts. Read the inactivity rule before you start, especially if you plan to take breaks.

Is a no time limit challenge easier to pass?

It removes one way to fail, but the profit target and loss limits are still the test. Some programs pair no deadline with a higher target or tighter loss limits, so compare the full set of rules rather than the time limit alone.

Does no time limit apply to the funded account too?

Funded accounts usually have no target or deadline, but they still have inactivity rules, payout cycles and sometimes a consistency rule. This list is based on the evaluation stage, so check the funded terms separately.
