What the rules mean in practice
- To pass, grow the $5K account by $250 (5%) without breaking a loss limit.
- On any single day you can lose up to $150 (3%). Check Fundedbit's rules for whether that is measured from the day's starting balance or equity, because open trades count.
- The account fails if you lose $300 (6%). This is equity trailing drawdown: the loss limit rises with your highest equity, including open profit, so it follows unrealised gains too.
- Consistency rule: Funded only: the best day may not exceed 20% of total profit
- At the starting 100% split, you need about 1.28% return on the funded $5K account to earn back the $64 total ($5 up front plus $59 on passing), before any other charges.
- Price is the $5 upfront fee; activationFee is the remaining fee, paid after passing to receive the funded account. Full costs run from $64 ($5K) to $554 ($100K).
- Payouts: every two weeks, the first 14 days after the first funded trade, with a $100 minimum.
- The four minimum trading days apply on the funded account, not during the evaluation.
- The 6% maximum loss trails the highest equity reached and locks at the starting balance once the account is 6% up. The 3% daily loss is a share of the starting balance, reset at 00:15 UTC.
