How Rise payouts work

Rise, also known as Riseworks, is a platform built for paying contractors and freelancers in many countries. Prop firms use it to handle payouts at scale: the firm sends your profit share to your Rise account, and you then choose how to withdraw it.

To use it, you create a Rise account, usually from an invitation linked to your prop firm, and complete identity verification. You may be asked to accept a contractor agreement and provide tax details. Once the account is active, payouts from the firm appear there, often soon after the firm approves them.

From Rise you can typically withdraw to a bank account in a supported currency or to a crypto wallet, depending on your country. Each withdrawal route can carry its own fees and conversion rates, so compare them before choosing. Check that Rise supports your country and the withdrawal option you plan to use.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a Rise account before my first payout?

Yes. The firm sends payouts to your Rise account, so you need to create it and pass verification first. Starting early avoids delays when your first payout is approved.

Can I withdraw from Rise to crypto?

In many cases yes. Rise supports withdrawals to bank accounts and to crypto, typically stablecoins, though the options depend on your country. Check the available methods and fees in your Rise account.

Why does Rise ask for a contractor agreement or tax details?

Rise is a payroll and contractor payments platform, so it records the relationship between you and the paying firm and may collect tax forms. Check how payouts are treated where you live with a qualified adviser.
