What the rules mean in practice

  • There is no evaluation. You trade a funded $150K account from day one, so the loss limits are the only rules between you and a payout.
  • On any single day you can lose up to $3,000 (2%). Check Tradeify's rules for whether that is measured from the day's starting balance or equity, because open trades count.
  • The account fails if you lose $5,250 (3.5%). This is end-of-day trailing drawdown: the loss limit moves up once a day, based on your end-of-day balance, and ignores swings during the session.
  • Consistency rule: 20% for the first payout, 25% for the second and 30% after that
  • At a 90% split, you need about 0.59% return on the funded account to earn back the $796 fee.
  • Payouts: a request opens once new profit reaches the goal for that payout ($1,500, $3,000, $6,000 or $9,000 for the first; $1,000, $2,000, $3,500 or $4,500 after that) and the consistency rule is met.
  • Per-request caps are $1,000 (25K), $2,000 (50K), $2,500 (100K) and $3,000 (150K) for the first three payouts, then $1,000, $2,500, $3,000 and $3,500. The minimum payout is $1,000.
  • The daily loss limit is a soft breach. It rises to the full drawdown once the account is up 6%; the 25K has no daily loss limit.
  • The drawdown locks at the starting balance plus $100 once cleared at the close or when a payout is requested.
  • No resets are offered; a failed account must be bought again.
  • The homepage lists a 5-day payout frequency, while the help center says there is no minimum number of trading days before a payout.

This is our reading of Tradeify's published rules. The firm's own terms always take priority. See the full Tradeify rules.
