What the rules mean in practice

  • To pass, grow the $100K account by $6,000 (6%) without breaking a loss limit.
  • On any single day you can lose up to $1,800 (1.8%). Check Lucid Trading's rules for whether that is measured from the day's starting balance or equity, because open trades count.
  • The account fails if you lose $3,000 (3%). This is end-of-day trailing drawdown: the loss limit moves up once a day, based on your end-of-day balance, and ignores swings during the session.
  • Consistency rule: 40% best-day rule in the evaluation (50% with a paid add-on); none once funded
  • At a 90% split, you need about 0.24% return on the funded account to earn back the $215 fee.
  • Payouts: after 5 days with at least $100, $150, $200 or $250 profit and positive net profit in the cycle. Each request can take 50% of profit up to $1,000, $2,000, $2,500 or $3,000, with a $500 minimum and no buffer.
  • Up to 5 payouts can be taken from each funded account, after which the trader is reviewed for live trading.
  • Prices are for the default configuration with the daily loss limit on and 40% consistency. Removing the daily loss limit or adding the 50% consistency option raises the price.
  • With the daily loss limit on, payouts can be requested during the session from that session's profit.
  • The loss limit locks at the starting balance plus $100 once the balance closes above the trail level or the first payout is requested.
  • Funded accounts scale contract size with profit (see the scaling plan).
  • Resets cost $45, $80, $150 and $225.
